Any poet who leans, successfully, on the gravitational distortion of space-time as a metaphor for that love-time bubble we have all experienced in passion, has my vote. I recall the same phenomenon occurs with the arrival of your first-born baby.
Time certainly distorted when our first was born. It was the beginning of the Easter holiday but our little new family dropped into a twilight zone: no days, no nights and a surreal sort of reality!
It’s always fun to read someone reaching for a new language and there are some startling images in this collection.
