Tasting Notes – poems by Matthew Stewart

Matthew Stewart’s excellent pamphlet, Tasting Notes, has now been professionally produced as a short film. One of Matthew’s hopes was that the pamphlet would introduce poetry to a new audience, and this film does that too. I was clocked by a number of people whilst watching it in my school’s staff room; it provoked laughter and warm approval from people who do not usually read poetry, especially the Zaleo Rosado (00:46), one of my personal favourites.

It’s a short pamphlet – one poem for each of the wines in the Zaleo range and, once you have heard them all in the film, then why not buy the pamphlet, and the wine, from HappenStance?
